Ambassador of Kazakhstan presents credentials to the President of Israel

18 December 2019 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Burshakov presented credentials to the President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin at his Beit HaNassi residence. 

         During the ceremony, the President of Israel and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan discussed bilateral relations and prospects for their development, as well as interaction in the framework of international formats. 

         Expressing gratitude for the shelter provided by the Kazakh nation to Jews during the Second World War, R. Rivlin assured that the feeling of gratitude to the Kazakh people would forever remain in the hearts of the Israelis. 

The Head of the Israeli State noted that the policy of tolerance and religious harmony in multinational Kazakhstan deserves high respect and is a good example of how xenophobia, anti-Semitism and other manifestations of intolerance must be resisted.

The President of Israel expressed his appreciation for the constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in healthcare, industries, high technology, and know-how, and wished the Kazakh Ambassador success in the implementation of joint plans and projects. 

Expressing thanks for the congratulations to the President and the people of Kazakhstan on Independence Day, S. Burshakov assured the Head of the Israeli State of the efforts to further strengthen friendship and cooperation, in particular to intensify trade and economic relations between the two countries.

In conclusion, R. Rivlin asked to convey his best wishes and invited President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay an official visit to Israel.
